Westwood

No place like home! I grew up in Westwood, a big suburban town. I never thought much about it until we all left for college. There was never much to do except get coffee or go to the movies or drive around and listen to music. But now, every time I'm home, I can't shake the feeling so nostagia. And I'd lying if I said it wasn't one of my favorite places in Jersey.

Ocean City

"Yeah, we're going to the shore in August." "The shore? Do people in New Jersey actually call it the shore?" My family and I went to Ocean City for the first time with a group of other family friends. We rented the first floor of a beach house, and managed to squeeze fourteen people inside. Since then, my family has been going to the shore and we've made some of the best memories together there, featuring insane sand castles!

P-Town

Weekend trips to Princeton with friends have always been the best. My roommate lives in New Brunswick, so the first time I ever visited her, we all went to Princeton and wandered around. In the many times we've gone back, PJ's Pancake house, Princeton Record Exchange, JaZams, and talking about where "House" was filmed have become staples in our visits.

CapeMay

I have not been to Cape May in some years, yet it's still one of my favorite places. My family used to go on vacation with my aunt and cousins when we were all just kids. I have so many great memories--the best was going whale watching. We never saw any whales, but cousin did get seasick, and my mom got attacked by a seagull. Good times.

Hoboken

Hoboken is one of the greatest day-getaways I've found. If you pick the right day, you can stroll up and down the quiet sidewalks of Hoboken, with a surreal view of the city skyline. I have always loved going to Turning Point for breakfast, and then sitting on one of the grassy fields by the Hudson and people walking. As popular as Hoboken has become, I still think its underrated.
